If doing parent/family pictures, aim for lightweight neutrals that will allow your baby to be the focus of your pictures. Most families opt for coordinating shades of cream, beige or white. Remember, you do not need to match...just coordinate! If you prefer the darker backdrop, black can also look
For Dad: A polo shirt or dress shirt with lightweight sweater are great options. Avoid patterns or heavy knits.
For Mom: Loose fitting blouses tend to be the most comfortable, flattering, and photogenic. Don't worry about them fitting perfectly or being too loose if you're wearing a maternity shirt...we can clamp them in the back and very little will show since you'll be holding the baby. You can also wear an off the shoulder cream maternity gown from my collection, it looks great when photographed from the waist up!
SKIN TO SKIN
Another option is the “skin to skin” look. For this option, mom would wear a simple tank top (which baby will end up covering mostly) and Dad would be in either a white undershirt or shirtless. This is a beautiful option that really highlights the connection between everyone in the picture.
WHAT TO WEAR– SIBLINGS
For girls, I recommend a neutral colored dress. I have several available upon request from sizes 12M-5T.
For boys, I recommend jeans or khakis and either shirtless or a plain white t-shit, or dress shirt. Avoid too many bulky layers (such as sweaters), as they don’t photograph well. I recommend a snugger fit, as opposed to loose.
