A Sunset Beach Maternity Photoshoot - Westport, CT

Looking back on this last year of living through a pandemic, there’s a number of things that I hope don’t go away as we move back to a new normal…Target drive-up, wine delivery, and Uber eats left at my door are just a few! But for sure, at the top of my list, is families being intentional about capturing the milestones of their lives with professional photography! With less baby showers and dinners out to get dressed up and even take iphone pictures together, moms have realized that they need to ensure their pregnancy is captured before it slips away. And truthfully, even as baby showers and dinners out return, I hope we continue to be intentional about giving ourselves the gift of capturing these important moments!

I'm truly the luckiest person alive to have such BEAUTIFUL clients, inside and out. I love getting to know them, hearing them talk about how they met, all of their future plans, and the families they are so excited to be growing. I love that so many of these families I get to see again once their baby is here, either for newborn sessions or future family sessions. To play a small role in their story is such an honor, and to develop those relationships is so rewarding. I had the BEST time getting to know Morgan and Stephen - Morgan was absolutely stunning, and we had the most beautiful night at the beach celebrating their baby on the way!

All three of her gowns were borrowed from the CLIENT CLOSET. I just loved the variety we were able to achieve by mixing fitted gowns with flowy, and blending muted colors with neutrals. Green is definitely a favorite of mine amongst the dunes.
